Cronenberg Developing All-New TV Series

As more and more of the world’s top filmmaking talent begins moving from the world of motion pictures to the area of television, it was only a matter of time until director David Cronenberg headed to greener pastures as well.
And today Variety reports that the Rabid and Videodrome director is in the early stages of developing a TV series that would mark his debut as a creator of an episodic narrative.
Cronenberg revealed he’s working on a personal TV project but declined specifics, saying he “can’t talk about it yet.”
This candid nature towards the upcoming series means we cannot confirm if this will be “horror” or not. But considering most of Cronenberg’s filmography leans towards the horrific, it might be a safe bet.
