Here’s Who Plays Roman Polanski in Tarantino’s Manson Movie

It was just the other day we passed along word that Quentin Tarantino had found his Charles Manson for the upcoming film Once Upon a Time in Hollywood. And today we’ve learned the film has cast its Roman Polanski too!
THR reports that Polish actor Rafal Zawierucha has been cast as the controversial director of such horror hits as Repulsion and Rosemary’s Baby. Polanski, as you may know, was married to Sharon Tate at the time of her murder at the hands of the Manson Family, and the murders took place in his home while he was away on business.
On top of that bit of cast, THR also reports that Lena Dunham, Maya Hawke, Danny Strong, Clu Gulager, James Landry Hébert, Mikey Madison, and Sydney Sweeney.

This film stars Leonardo DiCaprio, Brad Pitt, Margot Robbie, Burt Reynolds, Timothy Olyphant, Michael Madsen, Tim Roth, Al Pacino, Damian Lewis, Luke Perry, Emile Hirsch, Dakota Fanning, Clifton Collins Jr, Keith Jefferson, Clu Gulager, and Nicholas Hammond. It’s produced by Tarantino, David Heyman, and Shannon McIntosh.
It hits theaters July 26, 2019.
Synopsis:
The Tarantino pic has been referred to as a Pulp Fiction-like tapestry of stories set in L.A. in the summer of 1969, at the height of hippy Hollywood. The two lead characters are Rick Dalton (DiCaprio), former star of a Western TV series, and his longtime stunt double Cliff Booth (Pitt). Both are struggling to make it in a Hollywood they don’t recognize anymore. But Rick has a very famous next-door neighbor: Tate (Robbie).
