The Apocalypse to Come During a Wake Cycle Let’s face it; if and when the Apocalypse does come, it’s not gonna be pretty. There will be all manner of new and never before seen horrors set upon the scorched Earth, and that’s exactly how we like it!

According to Variety Boss Media has come on board Wake Cycle, snapping up Christian Cantamessa and Chris Pasetto’s post-apocalyptic sci-fi spec script.

A partnership between Frank Mancuso, Jr. and Eric Gores, Boss will fund production and begin casting immediately.

Cantamessa, lead designer and co-writer of the video game Red Dead Redemption, will direct with Mancuso and Gores executive producing.

Wake Cycle takes place in an underground hyperbaric facility, where the world’s greatest scientists are placed after a nuclear fallout. Wake Cycle refers to the available air every six months that allows two custodial workers to maintain the facility — but when one of their sleep tanks is damaged, they engage in a life-and-death struggle.
