MANDY Trailer is Colorful Insanity at its Most Violent

The trailer for Panos Cosmatos’ cosmic horror film Mandy has arrived and WOW is it something weird and special! Packed with gorgeous colors and bizarre, nightmarish characters, it’s clear that this is the kind of film that horror fans need to keep their eyes on.
“Pacific Northwest. 1983 AD. Outsiders Red Miller and Mandy Bloom lead a loving and peaceful existence. When their pine-scented haven is savagely destroyed by a cult led by the sadistic Jeremiah Sand, Red is catapulted into a phantasmagoric journey filled with bloody vengeance and laced with fire.”
Mandy stars Nicolas Cage, Andrea Riseborough, Linus Roache, Ned Dennehy, Olwen Fouéré, Richard Brake, and Bill Duke. Featuring music by the late Jóhann Jóhannsson, Mandy will come to theaters on September 14.
Cosmatos’ last film was the 2010 Canadian sci-fi/horror film Beyond the Black Rainbow, which had its world premiere at the Whistler Film Festival that year. Magnet Releasing released the film in the US in 2012.
