Karen Gillan Would Love to Play the Killer in a Remake of Wes Craven’s Scream

Like every other human on the planet, I am utterly bewitched by Oculus actress Karen Gillan. I’d watch paint grow if she was the star of the Netflix original film.
And it is with this in mind, I am tickled pink to hear that Gillian would love to remake one of my absolute favorite films of all-time. Yes, while speaking with Game Spot about her recent Jumanji movie, Gillan let slip that she would love to play the killer in a remake of Wes Craven’s Scream!
How cool is that? Specifically, when asked which other ’90s reboots she’d want to star in, Gillan replied: “I think probably remaking Scream–to play the killer in Scream! I just have this idea that it would be so funny to have like, a really Scottish girl on the end of the phone. Like, ‘What’s your favorite scary movie?’”
Classic. I know I would watch a Karen Gillan-starring remake of Scream at least twice a week for a year, if it came to fruition. How about you? Let us know below!
