Exclusive: Taste Encephalon’s Horror/Sci-Fi Concept Album With Never Bleed

Coming from Artoffact Records on October 13th will be industrial synth group Encephalon’s album We Only Love You When You’re Dead, which is a horror/sci-fi concept album. To give you a taste of the horrors to come, we teamed up with the group to bring you an exclusive first listen to the track “Never Bleed”.
Band leader Matt Gifford tells Dread Central, “Body horror. We went all in this time. ‘We Only Love You When You’re Dead’ begins and ends on an operating table. A conceptual story about a man unwillingly brought back from the dead through corporate funding and societies fetishistic desire to recreate the past. His flesh serves as product placement, his limbs flailing advertisements to a materialistic world that he always despised. His anger is one that could have only been birthed by spending time in hell, and now he’s bringing it back to earth with him. Sometimes dead really is better.”
