The Voices from the Dead Call to Houdini
Before today’s illusionists made cars transform into tigers or sawed off limbs and sometimes torsos, the godfather of them all, the great Harry Houdini, was stunning audiences everywhere with his death defying stunts. A new flick is on its way that gives a nice little supernatural twist to Houdini’s life and his ability to hear the Voices from the Dead.
According to Deadline DreamWorks has acquired Voices from the Dead, an original script by Changeling and Thor scribe J. Michael Straczynski.
The thriller is based on the friendship between magician Harry Houdini and mystery author Sir Arthur Conan Doyle. They were actually friends, but the script is a fictional account of how they teamed up with a psychic to solve bizarre murders in 1920s New York.
More as it appears and then disappears only to reappear as a lady in a cage of some sort.
