The novel People Live Still in Cashtown Corners, from Pontypool author Tony Burgess, is soon going to be hitting the big screen. Directors Eric Boissonneault and Tyson Carlson both were offered the property by Burgess himself after the film rights had been held by filmmaker filmmaker Bruce Macdonald for a number of years. The duo previously made a short called Stillborn which just played at the Blood in the Snow Film Festival.

Published in 2010, People Live Still In Cashtown Corners is the story of serial killer Cliff Klyder. Told from his point of view, it gives as a rare insight into what makes a psychopath tick. It sure sounds like it will make an interesting film to say the least.
