Danny Elfman Composes Horror Score for Trump ‘Stalking’ Clinton in Last Debate

No matter which side of the political fence you fall on, there’s no denying that it was a bit odd – and spooky – to watch Donald Trump lurking behind Hillary Clinton during the last debate in an almost stalker-ish fashion.  Leave it to Funny or Die to provide us with a horror-themed video of his actions… with a score by none other than Danny Elfman!

Here’s what Elfman, whose credits include Beetlejuice, The Nightmare Before Christmas, Dark Shadows, Hitchcock, Goosebumps, Frankenweenie, The Wolfman, Corpse Bride, Sleepy Hollow, and tons more, had to say about the inspiration for his latest horror score: “Watching Trump lurching behind Hillary during the debate felt a bit like a zombie movie, like at any moment he was going to attack her, rip off her head, and eat her brains.”

As the site says, the best thing about this piece is that it’s completely bipartisan. If you’re a fan of Hillary, then you can certainly appreciate the observation that Trump was clearly trying to physically intimidate her by looming behind her like some pervert on the subway; and if you like Trump, well, then this’ll at least help you better visualize him biting off her head.
