Premiering online for Halloween, the short film Sandman will later play at festivals worldwide, and believe me, this is a nightmare where getting dust sprinkled in your eyes is the least of your problems.

This years Halloween short from SuperfreakMedia comes in the form of ‘SANDMAN.’ When Sandy comes to from a strange dream she isn’t aware of the terrifying nightmare that awaits her now she is awake.
Starring up and coming talent Esmee Matthews as our lead character Sandy, the film is sure to terrify viewers when it tears its way online Halloween night for a short period before hitting film festivals worldwide.
SuperfreakMedia prides itself on creating fresh and original content with a dash of retro cool. ‘SANDMAN’ reunites a whole host of talent from previous short film ventures, including last years’ ‘Mr Creak.’ The short screened on BBC Three’s ‘The Fear’ last October placing 5th nationally, out of over 850 entries. The award winning team is back once more, bigger, better and a whole lot scarier!
Liam Banks, Director and Writer of ‘SANDMAN’ said “The challenge for this film was to create one of the scariest shorts we have ever made. Creating tension and fleshing out this gruesome character we had come up with was key. I really hope audiences respond to it well, already there are parts of the film I can’t wait to see surrounded by people just to watch how they react!”
