Behold the first trailer for the Malaysian crime/horror film Interchange, and be blown away by its highly stylised visual aesthetics in all their glory.
Interchange, which hits Malaysian screens later this year, follows a criminal investigation that leads into a deep, dark supernatural underworld. It comes from Bunohan director Dain Said and stars Shaheizy Sam, Nicholas Saputra, and Prisia Nasution. The highly stylised trailer sure has us intrigued, so we’ll keep our ears open for an international release.
Synopsis:
A hard-nosed cop and a crime photographer’s friendship is put to the test as a macabre murder investigation leads them to the mystical underbelly of a city of dark secrets where shamans, supernatural beings, and century-old superstitions come to life.
