Featurette Video and Website Explore the Science of Ghostbusters
After many months of waiting, the official trailer for Paul Feig’s Ghostbusters finally hit the net today, giving us our first real taste of what we can expect from the franchise reboot. What you might not have noticed is that hidden within the trailer was a URL, and it leads to a website full of extra little goodies.
Over on ParanormalStudiesLab.com, you’ll find images and information about all the new ghost-busting equipment, from the ghost traps to PKE meters, and the website also includes a video featurette not unlike one you’d expect to find on the DVD/Blu-ray. The video explores the science of busting ghosts, and you can check it out below.

Kristen Wiig, Melissa McCarthy, Kate McKinnon, and Leslie Jones are our new paranormal investigators along with their loyal secretary Chris Hemsworth. Neil Casey, Andy Garcia, Michael K. Williams, Matt Walsh, Pat Kiernan, Cecily Strong, and Charles Dance also star. Cameos will include the original film’s stars Bill Murray, Dan Aykroyd, Ernie Hudson, Sigourney Weaver, and Annie Potts. Plus Ozzy Osbourne.
The Ghostbusters reboot will haunt the big screen on July 15, 2016.
Synopsis:
Dead criminals from all eras of New York’s underbelly past have returned to roost among the living. Pilgrims, old-timey sailors, Revolutionary War spirits, and even a couple of zoot-suited gangsters are ready to take on four formidable female busters looking to rid the city of its phantasmic filth.
