Horror Manga Series Dokumushi Hitting the Big Screen
The manga series Dokumushi by Michio Yasu and Keito Aida, based on an earlier novel by Yasu, followed seven individuals imprisoned in an abandoned school filled with surveillance cameras, with the implication that they will be forced to resort to cannibalism soon dawning upon them.
Like many popular manga series in Japan, it’s now being adapted into a live-action film, which will debut over there on April 9th this year. Director Kayoko Asakura previously helmed the horror comedy Girls, Dance with the Dead, and the cast will include Kamen Rider star Ryota Murai and Rina Takeda, last seen in the first Attack on Titan movie.
