This Hell and Back Music Video Was Meant to Be

What happens when a group of friends decide to take a trip into the depths of hell? You can find out when directors Tom Gianas and Ross Shuman’s aptly-titled animated flick Hell and Back hits theaters this Friday (October 2). This R-rated endeavor is powered by a tremendously talented voice cast, including the likes of Danny McBride, Susan Sarandon, Mila Kunis, and Bob Odenkirk.

In fact, you can find quite a few of these gifted actors in the music video for “Meant to Be,” a tune that, coincidentally, appears in Hell and Back. The clip is definitely not safe for work, so make sure you’ve cleared any stray children or pearl-clutchers from the room before hitting play.

Before we jump in, let’s take a closer look at the plot:

In the outrageous R-rated animated comedy from the Animation studio that brought you “Robot Chicken,” “Triptank” and “Bojack Horseman,” three friends embark on a wayward journey into the deepest, darkest depths of hell to rescue one of their own. While navigating their escape, they provoke a slew of misfit demons, a super sexy angel, infamous Greek legends, and the Devil himself; Hell has never been hotter!
