Director Vincent Zhou and co-writer Peter Cameron’s Lost in the Pacific — China’s very first 3D sci-fi flick — recently debuted its first teaser trailer at the Toronto International Film Festival. If, like me, you’re not attending this year’s festival, then you may have missed it. And for that, I’m truly sorry. But don’t fret — we’ve got the 30-second clip right here for your viewing pleasure.

Here’s a refresher to help jog your memory about the project:

When a giant airplane regarded as “the Titanic in the sky” flies through the Pacific, it hits an abandoned aircraft carrier. Zhang Yuqi’s character is the pilot, and she has to land the aircraft on an island in the middle of the ocean. Followed by the chaos and suspenseful paranoia caused by the turbulence, the passengers soon realize it is not just an accident. The teaser also reveals that Brandon Routh’s character will need to fight for his life…

According to the press release, more nifty footage from Lost in the Pacific should arrive in October. Until then, we’ll have to keep ourselves occupied with this teaser trailer.
