Today on VOD: Big Game and Bound to Vengeance

While Jurassic World continues to tear up the box office, David Hackl’s (Saw V) incredibly fun Into the Grizzly Maze hits theaters today. The film was made available on VOD outlets a little while back, so be sure to check it out. And read on for a look at this week’s brand new VOD offerings!
First up, Rare Exports director Jalmari Helander returns with Big Game (review), which stars none other than Samuel L. Jackson as the President of the United States. The cast also includes Ray Stevenson, Felicity Huffman, Onni Tommila, Ted Levine, Jim Broadbent, and Victor Garber.
In Helander’s latest, the fate of the most powerful man in the world lies in the hands of a 13-year-old boy. Plunged into a deadly game of cat and mouse with only hours to spare, Oskari and the President must team up to survive the most extraordinary night of their lives.
Also out today, courtesy of IFC Midnight, is José Manuel Cravioto’s Bound to Vengeance (previously known as Reversal), which puts a slightly different twist on an old formula.
Instead of simply saving herself from the clutches of a sadistic madman (Richard Tyson), our heroine (Tina Ivlev) decides to rescue all of his victims over the course of one frightful night.
