Brett Kelly Commits Countrycide

Gotta say, Countrycide is probably my favorite title of a film I’ve seen in quite some time. If only because it also cleverly describes its own subgenre. Read on for details.

BK Entertainment is pleased to announce pre-production on the survival horror film COUNTRYCIDE.
The movie is the story of a woman trapped in the woods alone with a bear trap on her leg. The film chronicles her survival against predators of both the two- and four-legged variety. COUNTRYCIDE is being written and directed by Brett Kelly (My Fair Zombie, Homicycle).
“This film is a real change of pace for me, and I welcome it,” says Kelly. “People know me for my tongue-in-cheek films, but this movie is not tongue-in-cheek; it’s full-on suspense!”
