Writer Gives New Coffin Joe Update!

As we’ve told you about a few times now, the one and only Coffin Joe is working on his next movie, The Embodiment of Evil, though a story in the trades this weekend made it sound like it was a brand-new thing … and they got the title wrong.
According to the Variety story the film is called Devil’s Resurrection which is not, nor has it ever been, the film’s title. This verification comes directly from the film’s writer, Dennison (Love From Mother Only) Ramalho, who dropped us a line over the weekend to give us an update on the production.
“All the atrocity scenes are shot and, hey, it’s gonna be Rated-R for sure! If not rated X!” he enthused. “They are gruesome and cruel. Some of them performed for real. We even got to the point of sewing an actress inside the body of a dead pig! That’s Horror Brazilian-Style, my friend!”
