IT’S NECA TIME! Yes, kiddies, those fine folks who brought you Lost Boys, Robocop, 60 Freddies, 70 Jasons and 200 Gremlins are now tackling a film near and dear to our hearts and inexplicably overlooked by the toy gods: EVIL DEAD 2!
In true fanboy fashion, NECA has packed each figure with stunning detail, killer accessories and a likeness sure to make you click “PRE-ORDER” immediately. These figures are a snapshot of their respective scenes with bits included you’ll want to collect across the board for a complete Ashiverse…even if that means you are buying the same Ash body a few times!
Speaking of which, the core Ash body includes shoulder, elbow, wrist, head, waist, hip, mid-thigh, knee and ankle articulation, which you’ll note is a lot for a NECA movie figure. My one gripe will be the dreaded V crotch, which is generally only good for whorish action figures with lousy father figures. To compensate, NECA put in those mid-thigh swivels which will somewhat right the leg as it swings out when you attempt a raised leg pose…perhaps to try and squash a pesky demon-possessed hand?
