‘The Last Stop In Yuma County’ Star Richard Brake On His Quiet Villainy [Watch]

The Last Stop In Yuma County

Richard Brake is known for playing the villain. From the chilling serial killer in Barbarian to a member of the Firefly family in 3 From Hell, Brake knows how to capture evil in his performances. He channels such a talent in the new film The Last Stop In Yuma County, written and directed by Francis Galluppi. Again, he plays a villain here, but a much quieter, and in turn scarier, one.

Read the film’s full synopsis below:

While awaiting the next fuel truck at a middle-of-nowhere Arizona rest stop, a traveling young knife salesman is thrust into a high-stakes hostage situation by the arrival of two similarly stranded bank robbers with no qualms about using cruelty—or cold, hard steel—to protect their bloodstained, ill-begotten fortune.

We spoke with Brake about how he created his chilling character and how his co-star Nicholas Logan helped inform Brake’s own performance.

The Last Stop In Yuma County is out now in select theaters and on digital.
