‘The Puppetman’ Director Brandon Christensen Talks His Terrifying New Horror Film

The Puppetman

When I first saw Brandon Christensen‘s film Z, I screamed so loud I scared my cat. Ever since, I’ve approached his films very carefully, out of sheer respect for Zucchini (yes, that is my cat’s name) and my blood pressure. Well, he’s back at it again with his fourth feature film The Puppetman, a chilling tale about a familiar curse.

Read the full synopsis below:

The Puppetman is a convicted killer on death row. He has always maintained his innocence saying it was an evil force controlling his body as he slaughtered his victims. Now Michal, the killer’s daughter, begins to suspect that there may be some truth to her father’s claim when those around her begin to die in brutal ways. All hope rests on her shoulders to break The Puppetman’s curse.

Dread Central spoke with Christensen about tapping into what really scares people and how he creates such chilling films that linger long after you stop watching.
