Some pretty incredible genre films have come out of Australia over the years, one of the best of which was 2005’s Wolf Creek. One of the producers of Greg McLean’s Outback horror story was David Lightfoot, and he’s currently developing another Aussie thriller for his outfit Ultra Films. Read on for details!
Per Screen Daily, Xavier Samuel (pictured below; Twilight) and Morgan Griffin (San Andreas) have signed on to star in director David Pulbook’s Bad Blood, from a script Pulbook co-wrote with Patrick Edgeworth. Production on the suspense thriller is scheduled to start in Adelaide, Australia, on June 6.
The film centers on a woman (Griffin) who accepts an invitation to spend a weekend at a mountain resort with a male friend (Samuel) but quickly realizes something is wrong.
Antony I. Ginnane (Screamers) will also produce through his FG Film Group banner.
