Synopsis:
The movie tells the story of Jocelyn, Ashm, Matt and Kelly, four characters very different from each other that escaped into the woods after their county was hit with an unknown plague turning its residents into vicious creatures of the undead. This event forced the four characters to survive in the wilderness together in search of safety. However, in their attempt to find safe haven from this outbreak, they were followed into the woods by the creatures they were trying to escape.
Within The Woods of Undead County is an independent horror/zombie film, which has been approved for distribution and was released on DVD Tuesday, June 18th, 2019, with Blu-ray and Internet media providers, such as amazon prime, Roku, and Netflix, coming in the near future. It has been selling like crazy. The feature film was shot entirely in Northeast Pennsylvania by local Indie filmmakers, specifically in the town of Tamaqua and city of Wilkes Barre. The film was entirely funded by the filmmakers involved along with some generous donations given by those who anticipate the success of the movie. It was shot digitally on a Panasonic DSM camera and shot in full anamorphic. We had a sold-out red carpet premiere at the historic Angela Complex Theatre in Coaldale Pennsylvania, which all profits were donated to the American Cancer Society.
Within the Woods of Undead County is directed by Nicholas Paul Pontoski from a screenplay co-scribed with Justin Stephens; the film stars Gabriella Harry, Mike Motyl, and Cory Handelong. Pick up your copy from Screamtime Films, HERE.
