Today, December 6th, Lionsgate unleashes writer/director Mel House's Psychic Experiment on DVD shelves everywhere (the film is also currently available on VOD platforms). It features an all-star cast including Katie Featherston, Debbie Rochon, Reggie Bannister, Glenn Morshower, Kathy Lamkin and Shannon Lark as well as the subject of this interview, Friday the 13th's original final girl herself- Adrienne King.

On December 6th, just in time for Christmas (ho, ho, ho), we're all going to be treated to the release of Psychic Experiment (formerly known as Walking Distance), dropping on DVD, digital download and On Demand courtesy of Lionsgate Home Entertainment.

The 2010 Dallas International Film Festival kicked off this past weekend by presenting actress Amber Heard with the first DALLAS Shining Star Award on Saturday, April 10, at The Angelika Film Center, and on Friday, April 16th, writer/director Frank Darabont will receive the DALLAS Star Award for his many contributions to the film industry over the course of his illustrious career.

When a young actress named Adrienne King signed on for a small horror film called Friday the 13th, she had no idea that it would end up becoming one of the most successful independent films with a budget of around one million dollars and a gross of over 50 times that to date and that it would become one of the biggest franchises in Hollywood (spawning ten sequels including Freddy vs. Jason and one remake so far).

We love when clarification is given. It just makes everything seem a bit saner, ya know? It seems that The Hollywood Reporter didn't have all of its ducks in a row concerning the title switch of Walking Distance to Experimental Activity.

The success of Paranormal Activity was bound to change a lot of things. Who knew it would even lead to the change in film title for Mel House's Walking Distance?
