It’s pretty standard in horror films to try and reason with the killer. You beg, you negotiate, you plead, you do anything you can to stay alive. But sometimes, those negotiations lead you even further into hell. Such is the case in our exclusive clip from the new horror film Night Of The Bastard, directed by Erik Boccio.

Disgruntled hermit Reed lives a solitary life in the desert. After chasing away a group of youths trying to party near his home, Reed’s peaceful life is violently upheaved when a group of savage cultists lay siege to his house.
Forced to partner up with one of the party-goers, Reed and his newfound colleague must defend themselves into the night, all while long-buried and disturbing secrets are revealed to him as part of the cult’s evil plan.
In this scene, Reed and Kiara are captive around a bonfire. Reed bargains with Claire for Kiara’s life, but what he agrees to is even worse than he even realized. People will have to watch the thing to find out why…
