It’s been 10 years since twin filmmakers Jen and SylviaSoska incorporated their scrappy indie studio Twisted Twins Productions. In that time, they’ve gone from producing a $25K splatter-fest (DeadHooker in a Trunk) to helming a remake of David Cronenberg’s Rabid. Other accomplishments include the cult body horror American Mary, 2 seasons of Hellevator on the Game Show Network, and being hired to pen BlackWidow for Marvel.

The Soska’s have also been dedicated to community service, spearheading a blood drive each February as part of Women in Horror Month. Today, the twins released a video thanking their fans for 10 years of support; it also includes information regarding 2019’s Massive Blood Drive and how you (yes, you) can get involved. Statement from Jen and Sylvia Soska:

Happy Ten-YearAnniversary to glorious Twisted Twins Productions from humble guerrilla shooting beginnings with Dead Hooker in a Trunk to remaking David Cronenberg’sRabid & becoming the writers for Marvel’s Black Widow.

We’ve had an amazing decade of incorporation and we are honoured to be bringing you some truly next level creative endeavours in 2019.

2019 also marks the 10-year anniversary for Women in Horror Recognition Month, founded by the fearlessHannah Neurotica, and the tenth year of our annual blood drive and guess what? We want your blood.

And your filmmaking skills!

This year we will be opening up the Massive Blood Drive PSAs to everyone – so if you’ve wanted an excuse to get into filmmaking or you feel generous enough to donate your skills to the cause – we will be picking our top ten favourites & getting you some prizes & publicity!

All you have to do is upload your PSA to YouTube before January 15th and send us the link on FB, twitter, or even in the comments to this video.
