‘Devil’s Workshop’ Exclusive Clip Shows Radha Mitchell & Timothy Granaderos in Demonic Blood Ritual

Lionsgate just shared with us this exclusive clip from Devil’s Workshop, a new demonic thriller from director Chris von Hoffmann. It follows a struggling actor who confronts his demons in an attempt to get his career back on track. But in the process, he may have just made a deal with the devil! The below clip shows the bloody beginning of a series of dark rituals that the protagonist Clayton must go through to prove his commitment.
In Devil’s Workshop, “Struggling actor Clayton (Timothy Granaderos, 13 Reasons Why) is desperate for a role as a demonologist. But he has hostile competition with his long-time rival, Donald (Emile Hirsch, Into the Wild). Determined to get the role at all costs, he contacts Eliza (Radha Mitchell, Man on Fire), an expert in devil lore, to help him prepare. Spending the weekend at her home, Eliza forces Clayton to confront his troubling past through the practice of dark rituals. Does she want to help Clayton, seduce him – or destroy him? The shocking climax will set your soul ablaze.”

“Devil’s Workshop is a play on film in the vein of an 85-minute existential Tales From the Crypt episode. It’s an intense, mostly two-hander between a troubled man in his thirties and an older, wiser woman in her fifties,” says director Chris von Hoffmann. “Tonally, think of this as Sunset Boulevard on acid. A psychological drama that ferociously shifts into full-blown horror by the final 20 minutes. The horror itself is simply a stylistic vehicle to explore two mentally disturbed characters.”
Devil’s Workshop will be released in select theaters and on VOD on September 30th.
