Might we here at Dread Central recommend you consider visiting Director Lance Parkin’s The Boonies. The film is all set to be unleashed on DVD and VOD this April the 13th from Indican Pictures! A fun weekend excursion turns deadly when Aaron (Matt Schultz, Theo and the Professor) joins his brother, Jeremy (James Quinn, Checkmate), and a group of his friends for a relaxing weekend deep in the Appalachian woods. But instead of the peaceful weekend getaway they planned, the group soon discovers that their itinerary includes much more than a traditional outdoor adventure. When they unexpectedly stumble upon a couple who are reporting some strange local occurrences, the group soon find themselves on a truly terrifying trek where they must work together and fight for their survival.

Director Lance Parkin (Theo and the Professor) helms the horror. Parkin also penned the original screenplay for The Boonies along with star Matt Schultz. Daniel Johnson (Make It Happen) also stars in the backwoods fright flick along with Jess Uhler (Massacre Academy), and Rick Dutrow (Massacre Academy, Rust).
