November 20th is fast approaching, which means Summit Entertainment will be pulling out all the stops over the next several days to keep the momentum going for The Twilight Saga: New Moon's premiere. On tap for today: a "Meet the Volturi" featurette and details on the November 11th UK fan party that promises devotees a Q&A with director Chris Weitz and stars Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart, and Taylor Lautner.
Now that fans of The Twilight Saga have had several hours to watch and rewatch the "Bella's Birthday" clip that appeared on MTV's Ulalume: Howling at New Moon, the network has graciously posted the entire special online, and you can watch it right here.
Only three weeks ... twenty-one agonizing days ... stand between today and The Twilight Saga: New Moon's total domination of the box office, and to help build the excitement even more, Summit has released yet another new clip. It shows the Cullen clan's reunion for Bella's birthday bash and provides an extended glimpse of the tension caused by her presence, clarifying the altercation between Edward and Jasper (Jackson Rathbone) we've seen occur in the trailers.
Whew! It's a busy day in the Twitterverse where The Twilight Saga is concerned with news about all three installments getting some play: Eclipse, New Moon, and even the original granddaddy of them all, Twilight.
To coincide with the footage shown at Scream 2009, two new one-sheets for The Twilight Saga: New Moon have popped up online. We can just hear the tweens squealing and the cougars growling. Please ... try to contain yourselves! We're getting slightly aroused!
Members of The Twilight Saga: New Moon's Team Jacob have much to be happy about. A new clip entitled "Wolf Pack Sizzle" debuted during Spike TV's Scream 2009 broadcast and quickly thereafter appeared online via MSN Movies. It plays like a behind-the-scenes DVD featurette on the Quileute wolf pack and how they were CGI animated.
Updates on three different projects have come in over the weekend via Twitter, and rather than do separate stories on each, we've got them all right here ... down & dirty, quick & easy ... just how we know you like it!
What with various clips and promos scattered among iTunes, Fandango, Yahoo, and the TV gossip shows, the powers-that-be who dole out the goods for Summit Entertainment's The Twilight Saga: New Moon have been working overtime this past week. Now that we're less than a month away from the debut of Summit Entertainment's The Twilight Saga: New Moon, clips, TV spots, and more are coming fast and furious. On the plate today: the Volturi fighting scene in which Edward and Bella face the powerful Italian vamp coven for the first time.
It's a big week for tweeners (and their mothers) who can't get enough of The Twilight Saga: New Moon. Along with the new iTunes clip provided yesterday, Fandango has just released a 30-second TV commercial that -- finally -- gives Team Edward a little something to cheer about.

Now that the free iTunes clip from The Twilight Saga: New Moon has been released, fans of the series are scouring it for every scrap of new information to be culled from it. One eagle-eyed viewer has even gone so far as to compare Jacob (Taylor Lautner)'s wolf transformation from the previously seen trailers to this new version, and we must admit we like the difference!
This is the first we've ever heard of something like this ... a 100% free clip from a yet-to-be-released film being offered for download on iTunes. But, of course, when said movie is The Twilight Saga: New Moon, nothing comes as a surprise anymore!
Dread Central (in this case Heather Wixson, myself, and a moonlighting Brian Smith) hit the red carpet this past Saturday for the taping of the fourth annual Spike Scream Awards, held at the Greek Theatre in Los Angeles, and brought back a slew of photos and video interviews from the press line, as well as from the event itself and subsequent after-party (which was held at the Forever Hollywood Cemetery in, well, Hollywood).
Anyone who attended tonight's Scream Awards at the Greek Theatre in LA hoping to see Twilight co-stars Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart win in their respective categories or present new footage from New Moon left disappointed. But members of Team Jacob made out like bandits thanks to a win by Taylor Lautner for Best Male Break-out Performance and his return to the stage a short while later to accept for Twilight in the Best Fantasy Film category.
