Producer Michael Bay’s COVID Thriller SONGBIRD Rated PG-13 for Violence, Bloody Images & More

Producer Michael Bay’s COVID thriller Songbird was filmed during the pandemic. And today the MPPA has given the movie a PG-13 rating for violence including some bloody images, sexual material, partial nudity, and some strong language.

We’ve also got a new poster for you to check out. Reminds me of the teaser poster for Johnny Depp’s The Lone Ranger. Give it a look-see below.

The killer cast includes KJ Apa (Riverdale), Sofia Carson (Descendants), Alexandra Daddario, Bradley Whitford, Craig Robinson, Demi Moore, and Paul Walter Hauser.

It takes place in 2024 where the virus has mutated into COVID-23, 50% of the infected die, and the world is forced into stringent lockdown camps. A frontline courier immune from the virus falls in love with a woman while trying to figure out how to fight for humanity. Songbird currently does not have a release date.

Here’s another poster.
