Dorchester’s Revenge: The Return of Crinoline Head is the sequel to the 1995 film Crinoline Head, and it’s storming the festival circuit and reaping awards. The next stop will be Mad Monster Party. Look out, Charlotte!
Written, directed, and produced by Tommy Faircloth, Dorchester’s Revenge picks up where Crinoline Head (also written, directed, and produced by Faircloth) left off. The new film stars the legendary Debbie Rochon (credits too numerous to list!) and Jason Vail (Gut, Abraham Lincoln vs. Zombies) and focuses on the story of college students researching the serial killer “Crinoline Head” and returning to the scene of the horrific murders that happened in 1996. Bet you can guess what happens then!
Created by Horse Creek Productions, Dorchester’s Revenge has won 10 awards since premiering in Austin, Texas, including Horror Society’s 2015 “Best Indie Horror Film” and Mr. Frights “Best Horror Feature” of 2014. The next stop for this indie nightmare will be Mad Monster Party in Charlotte, NC, March 27-29. Check out the Mad Monster Party website for details on the screening, which will be posted shortly. In international news, Dorchester’s Revenge will jump the pond in June for its debut in London.
