Warners Grabs Chemical Wedding
Now this is what I like to write about; out of nowhere a film is announced as being deep into production one week, and a few weeks later it’s done and already being shopped for distro.
Such is the case with Chemical Wedding, the Julian Doyle- helmed horror film from a script by Iron Maiden frontman Bruce Dickinson. Principal photography just wrapped on Wedding, the story of a stuffy English professor who is possessed by the spirit of famed occultist Aelister Crowley (pictured), and today The Hollywood Reporter learned that Warner Bros. has nabbed it for release in the UK and Ireland.
Though its only two of hundreds of territories, most of which Warners has first-look options for, its definitely a good sign that we’ll be seeing this sooner rather than later. Keep it here for more Chemical Wedding updates as we get ‘em!
