UPDATE: Mirrors Pictures Today, Trailer Now!

Mirror's Site Updated!UPDATE: The trailer for Mirrors is now online and embedded below!

Alexandre Aja's remake of of Mirrors is slowly pulling me in. Sure, it's a remake of a Korean ghost story and those are becoming old hat, but something about casting Kiefer Sutherland in it gives the film and edge that the others lack.

Too bad we haven't seen a trailer yet, and the release is just a couple months away. Oh Aja! Why do you tease us!

OK, so maybe the wait is almost over according to an update on Mirror's official site. New stills have been added, but the trailer promised for today is still MIA. We've heard that it may be up on Yahoo! Movies tomorrow, but we'll just have to wait and see.

Mirrors stars Kiefer Sutherland as the "head of security at a department store plagued by unexplained deaths The store is also the target of demonstrators wanting compensation for an earlier staff fire tragedy. The man becomes intrigued by a disturbed woman. She claims her sister, who died in the fire, is exacting revenge, using mirrors as a gateway back into the living world."

The film opens across the US on August 15th, 2008.

Everything I've seen (I visited the editing bay) looked spectacular. It's a remake in name only (and of a film that wasn't particularly good) and Aja is going nuts with it. I'm excited.
