Oh, man, another short film competition. Though this one is definitely cooler than most as Unviersal is putting it on to coincide with this year’s Halloween Horror Nights.
Uni have announced a new short film competition called “Where Nightmares Come Alive”, inviting perspective filmmakers to submit their shorts ranging in runtime from 90 seconds to three minutes. Certainly not a lot of time to get your story told, is it?
A panel of horror icons like Eli Roth and Bill Moseley, as well as Universal Studios Hollywood execs, will help judge the films and the winner will have their film shown at the Eyegore Awards ceremony and receive a $1,000 cash prize.
For all the rules, regulations and stipulations visit the official “Where Nightmares Come Alive” page, and keep it here for updates on the competition! Universal’s Halloween Horror Nights kicks off on Friday, October 3rd!
Got news? Click here to submit it!
Leave your shorts on if you hit the Dread Central forums!
