Can you believe it’s been 25 years since John Landis created what is arguably the best music video ever made, Michael Jackson’s “Thriller”? I know, most of you weren’t even alive when it first showed up on MTV, but trust me; it was a big deal.
This year’s Tribeca Film Festival is celebrating the 25th anniversary of “Thriller” with a very cool one-night-only event, the appropriately-titled Thriller Night! John Landis will be on hand to show off the epic video as well as the classic “Making of Thriller”. There’ll be a zombie disco where you can learn the Thriller dance (HELL yes), a face painting station so you can look your ghoulish best, and more!
Thriller Night will go down on Thursday, April 24th at the Tribeca Drive-In. The ghouls come out when the sun goes down so be sure you’re ready for it! More info can be found on the official Tribeca site; hope we see you there!
