John Landis Tribeca 2008 Zombies Tweet By Johnny Butane April 13th, 2008 Can you believe it’s been 25 years since John Landis created what is arguably the best music video ever made, Michael Jackson’s “Thriller”? I know, most of you weren’t even alive when it first showed up on MTV, but trust me; it was a big deal. This year’s Tribeca Film Festival is celebrating the 25th anniversary of “Thriller” with a very cool one-night-only event, the appropriately-titled Thriller Night! John Landis will be on hand to show off the epic video as well as the classic “Making of Thriller”. There’ll be a zombie disco where you can learn the Thriller dance (HELL yes), a face painting station so you can look your ghoulish best, and more! Thriller Night will go down on Thursday, April 24th at the Tribeca Drive-In. The ghouls come out when the sun goes down so be sure you’re ready for it!
