The Signal Gets Stronger
If you have not heard about The Signal yet, let me share with you a snippet from our review, "The really impressive thing about The Signal is that despite its being broken down into three distinct parts, with different themes, different tones, and different visual styles, the story plays extremely coherently ... But, perhaps more importantly, the humanist message behind the film is present in all three segments, even though the filmmakers find different ways to reveal it. Horror films with a message are rare. Well told, well acted, wet ones, are even rarer. You’d have to be crazy not to watch The Signal."
This interesting horror entry is under the wing of Magnolia and is finally being hyped like it needs to be. The build-up for the film's October 26th release date has more steam now thanks to Bloody Disgusting who announced that, starting today, they'll be hosting exclusive Podcasts for the David Bruckner, Jacob Gentry and Dan Bush-directed movie.
Head on over to the flick's official site to take a look at the trailer and all the praise The Signal has been packing under its belt. If you want to spread the craziness yourself, be sure to make The Signal a friend on MySpace.

Basements are scary places, especially in Florida. For whatever reason, a few contractors here in the sunshine state decided that it was a grand idea to install that feature into some apartment complexes. Yes, the idea of flooding thanks to being below sea level never dawned on these folks. Thanks to that brain fart you can occasionally find gators, leaches and various other nasty things down in the laundry room. Well, at least we don't have psychos down there.
