The Fourth Horseman Rides
The end is nigh. Again.
Daily Variety got word late in the day today that Intrepid Pictures has nabbed the rights to the “supernatural thriller” (or what we like to call “horror movie”) The Fourth Horseman, written by Marshall Uzzle and Perry Fair. Intrepid will have Snowblind penners Paul Benz & Steve Tomlin throw a re-write at it.
The story, which just sounds plain old badass, is about a priest attempting to thwart the Apocalypse as three of the four horsemen, War, Pestilence and Famine, await the birth of their fourth brother so they can bring about the end of days. Sans Schwarzenegger, of course.
Intrepid were behind The Strangers, which Rogue will release early next year, as well as Neil Marshall’s Doomsday, which continues to make me salivate whenever I see new things from it. In a good way.
Keep it here, we’ll be following progress on Fourth Horsemen as close as possible!
Prepare for the end of days by hitting up the Dread Central forums!

Though it’s by no means the best look we’ll have at it, STYD managed to snap up the first look at the new poster for Doug Buck’s remake of Brian DePalma’s Sisters, which you can see in all it’s glory
