Ed Douglas Midnight Syndicate Robert Kurtzman The Dead Matter Vampires Zombies Tweet By Johnny Butane September 12th, 2008 This Halloween Hot Topic has decided to celebrate all things dark and spooky (as opposed to their usual light & colorful tone) with the launch of a special Halloween website called, confusingly, T3n Th1rty One (that’s “Ten Thirty-One” for those of you struggling at home). Why should you care? Because T3n Th1rty One is the home of the exclusive debut of The Dead Matter trailer, the long-awaited vampire/zombie movie from Midnight Syndicate maestro Edward Douglas! We’ve been talking about this movie for years so it’s very nice to have something to show off! Robert Kurtzman co-produced Dead Matter and his Precinct 13 shop handled all the effects, which look great in the bit we get to see. Andrew Divoff, Jason Carter and Tom Savini star in the tale about an ancient occult relic and its power over the living and the dead. Yep, sounds like a damn fine way to kick off a Halloween site!
