Terminator Production Blog Opens
An official production blog has opened for McG's Terminator Salvation: The Future Begins, the fourth film in the incredibly popular series and the first of three new planned Terminator films. The oddly-named director seems to have a pretty good grasp on how to do this one right ... or at least what the kids want to hear.
"Everything we’re shooting is designed to be tactile and real," he writes in the first blog post, "you’ll be seeing a whole set of inspired designs you’ve never seen before, and best of all you’ll finally get to see some of the post-judgment day future that was only hinted at in the previous movies."
He also posted some concept art, which you can see a chunk of to your right. As much as I never really thought this was a good idea, I have to admit both the inclusion of Christian Bale as John Connor and the overall fanboy excitement McG carries with him with whatever he makes has helped sway me quite a bit. Check out the Terminator Salvation production blog and see if it you get the same warm feeling!
Keep it here for more Terminator Salvation updates soon!
Wonder if you'll fight for the humans or bow to the robots in the Dread Central forums!

Mr. Stephen Romano just sent us over this week's winner in our ongoing Shock Festival contest. The man's name is "Paul" and his film is entitled, of course, Shark Women of Sex Island! Romano had this to say about the concept;

"Hi, I'm McG. You may remember me from getting my pudgy ass kicked all over the internet for my foolish and, thankfully, cancelled remake of SPACED. I now intend to take a high, curly shit on one of the most beloved film franchises in the world."

Would we even get to see a bloodied up Terminator? Does flesh falling off an evil killing machine fit into the PG-13 box?

"I really cannot see how they can fuck this up..."
*ahem*
The director of Charlie's Angels. PG-13 rating. No James Cameron.
That reason enough? I'll stick with the TV show.

Um, did I somehow miss the fourth Terminator film? Or are you counting Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles as an ersatz fourth film?
