Surveillance Casting Update

We last reported on Jennifer Lynch’s return to the director’s chair, the supernatural thriller Surveillance, right here when it was announced that Billy Burke would star in the supernatural thriller.
Apparently things have changed a bit, as this morning Variety reports that the film is getting ready to roll later this month with Bill Pullman, Pell James, Julia Ormond, Ryan Simpkins, French Stewart and Cheri Oteri. Notice no mention of Burke in there?
The film is the story of an FBI agent (Pullman) who goes to a small town to track the would-be victims of a serial killer, each with their own sordid stories to tell. Problem is in this small town everyone lies to everyone else so finding the truth will more difficult than it seems. Not sure where the supernatural element comes into play, but I can’t wait to find out.
Lynch, daughter of David, made her directorial debut with 1993’s Boxing Helena and hasn’t helmed a pic since. We hope it will be worth the wait!
