Well, Davis DVD managed to beat everyone to the punch today by getting the first look at the specs and box art for all seven movies that were part of the After Dark HorrorFest, set to hit shelves March 27th. Good on them!
Thankfully almost all seven films will have something extra to offer; it would’ve been too easy for Lionsgate to just dump a bunch of bare bones releases in our laps. The Gravedancers will come with commentary, deleted scenes, and a making-of featurette; Dark Ride will also have the same feature trifecta; Penny Dreadful will get a featurette and some trailers; Takashi Shimizu’s Reincarnation will have a featurette, interview with the director, and deleted scenes; and Unrest will have commentary and a featurette.
No word on what, if any, features Wicked Little Things or The Hamiltons will include, but that’s still a pretty impressive lineup, don’t you think?
