Those lucky bastards over at IGN got their hands on the trailer for Uwe Boll’s first original horror film, Seed, and I’m oh so very jealous. No worries, though; you can just scroll down a bit to check it out for yourself.
Seed is the story of a serial killer who refuses to die in the electric chair, is buried alive, and digs his way out for some nasty revenge. Vivendi Entertainment will have this sucker on store shelves September 9th, but you can save yourself the searching and just pre-order it through Evilshop. You’ll be glad you did.

Foy, Boll actually gets theatrical releases though. That's something Ulli Lommel will never have again.
As long as Uwe's flicks don't look like they were shot at someone's house over the weekend on a $100 camcorder, he'll never sink to the likes of Ulli.

Did you even watch the same trailer I did for SEED. That movie looks wickedly good and I plan on renting it when it comes out. let's hope that if it's bad....maybe they could included a comedy verison like HOD.......

Yes, I've seen Seed. It's boring, poorly made, terribly acted, horrendously written shit (even by Boll's standards) that'll only appeal to gorehounds who won't care one way or another if the film is any good because it gives them plenty of gore. Easily Boll's worst film and even more easily one of the year's worst.

I have repeatedly joked that Uwe Boll isn't even the worst German director whose name begins with the letter "U"; that distinction going to Ulli Lommel. I can only assume that Boll heard me say this and decided to take back the mantle by making a movie that would out-Lommel Ulli Lommel. SEED may very well be Boll's worst.
