SDCC 08: RE: Degeneration Pics!

Resident Evil: Degeneration (official site) is going to pick up the pieces the three live-action films left behind. First of all, this new story looks to be skipping the Paul Anderson BS all together and second, some familiar faces from the game are finally joining the battle against the T-Virus.

According to our guys at Comic Con, the film focuses on Claire and Leon's story lines, making the film's structure very true to what was found in RE 2. The two characters split up to accomplish various tasks. The relationship between the two is stronger and we may see a bit of romance thanks to a new female character, Angela.

Angela, leader of a SWAT-type team from local police, is there to help Leon deal with the outbreak. She may even have close ties to the outbreak itself!

The same voice actors (Paul Haddad and Alyson Court) will return to the roles of Claire and Leon, however there we wont't see Hunk or Tofu and no real cameos will be in Degeneration, but Wesker's involvement was not implicitly denied.
