New Horror From Within
If you grew up in a small town, surely you can understand what it’s like to just want to be out of your particular backwater burg and experience the world, and there’s nothing like the steady increase of mysterious death in said town to amplify that decision by a couple hundred times.
Such is the case for the lead in From Within, a new thriller Variety announced today begins shooting in Maryland next month. It’s from the pen of Gravedancers writer Brad Keene and will be directed by cinematographer Phedon Papamichael (pictured, Walk the Line, Identity, Poison Ivy).
Thomas Dekker, of "Heroes" fame, Elizabeth Rice, Adam Goldberg and Jake Weber all star in the tale of a girl whose strict Christian upbringing has been holding her down in her small town, and how much she wants to get out and see the world. When town citizens begin to die suspiciously, one has to wonder if perhaps she had something to do with it? Hmmmmm. Keep it here for more soon!
