A few more minor details have surfaced about Cabin in the Woods, the project we first mentioned yesterday that was penned by Joss Whedon and Cloverfield producer Drew Goddard.
An article in this morning’s THR, which focuses on Mary Parent’s revitalization of MGM as a production house, mentions that Cabin will also be Goddard’s directorial debut, but neither Joss, Drew, nor Parent would give any more details as to what it’s about.
"I'll be shot,” Parent told the trade. ”I've got like 12,000 online people outside. They've got me under pain or punishment, I'm not allowed to discuss. It's an intense visceral thrill ride and I'll leave it at that. It was everything you would have hoped with the two of them."
It’s not much, but it’s enough to keep my interest piqued! If all goes well, Cabin in the Woods should be shooting this fall. Keep it here for updates!
