Love Day for Leslie

When the announcement was originally made that Scott Glosserman’s excellent mockumentary/slasher film Behind the Mask: The Rise of Leslie Vernon would be getting a theatrical run thanks to Anchor Bay, the date it was set to open was January 5th.

Like all things in this business, however, that date has changed but not too drastically. It will now open in at least 12 major markets on Valentine’s Day (February 14th), 2007. If you’ve not seen it yet, trust me when I say the less you know about it, the better. I went in more or less blind and fell in love with it. How appropriate it would play on Valentine’s Day then…

The flick’s official site is down for now, likely getting all sorts of renovation before the big release, but you can still make it a friend on MySpace by clicking here. And if you’re really not going to listen to what I said about ignoring any info on it, click here for our review!
