Lohman Finds a Place in Hell
That was a short wait! Variety reports that not even a week after everyone made a big deal out of Ellen Page leaving Sam Raimi’s return to horror, Drag Me To Hell, already a replacement has been found; Alison Lohman.
Who? Well, Lohman was recently seen in Beowulf (crickets...) and Things We Left in the Fire and previously in films like Big Fish with her only genre credits being The 13th Floor and Kraa! The Sea Monster.
Lohman will play a girl who receive a supernatural curse quite against her will, but that’s about all the plot that’s been revealed so far. Shooting is now set to start up on March 31st.
