Laugier Thrown to the Dogs
Trade magazine Production Weekly has reported that Pascal Laugier is considering signing up to direct a mad canine thriller aptly dubbed Dogs. Laugier has recently enjoyed some notoriety, having directed the well received Martyrs as well as taking on a Hellraiser remake for Dimension Films.
The tale is said to revolve around a war veteran who somehow becomes trapped in his desert shack by a vicious pack of wild and hungry dogs.
Martyrs established Laugier as an unflinching director who’s willing to provide a lot of red tension to the audience; taking that skill to a story of desperation involving a man fighting to survive against wild beasts just might be an engrossing tale.
Details on this project, and Laugier’s involvement, remain to be seen, but we'll drop you more as soon as we hear it so don't move... don't even blink!

IGN.com scored themselves an age restricted trailer for the upcoming mutant mash The Mutant Chronicles (review here) and as long as you're of age and don't mind a little mayhem, I suggest you check it out. We don't want to corrupt today's youth or anything like that, ya know?

I can't wait for the part when he skins the dog and the dog sees heaven.
