J-Horror End Call Teaser

Did you know the devil had a cell phone? I can’t imagine why you would think otherwise; they are a tool of evil for most. But did you know if you call his cell phone at midnight, he will grant your wish? Yep. The only catch is he controls your life for the duration of the call.

Ah, there’s always a catch, isn’t there? In Kiyoshi Yamamoto’s End Call, that catch is the heart of the film; a group of high school girls make the call to get their wishes but end up dead. Now, before you brush it off as just another lame J-horror film about their fear of technology, know that some early word on it is actually pretty positive. Could this be the one that brings J-horror back to cool?

Twitch Film got their greedy little hands on the first teaser for End Call, which you can check out below. It doesn’t tell you much, and it’s not subtitled, but it does look like it’s got some serious style behind it. We’ll bring you more as we learn it!
