here! Films to Remake Horror Classics

Just a couple months ago we learned that here! Films was going to bring Cthulhu (review) to the masses, but it doesn't look like they're going to stop with just one gay horror flick.

According to THR, Grizzly Rage and Final Stab director David DeCoteau is going to be remaking several horror classics with gay themes. Poe's The Pit and the Pendulum and other literary works from H.G. Wells and Sir Arthur Conan Doyle will all be retooled; some scheduled 10 films will also be receiving the theatrical treatment.

If Cthulhu is any indication as to the quality of these upcoming films, then they are welcomed indeed.

I'm glad to see more gay-themed horror movies (Well, as long as they're good...). I could never quite understand the homophobic rantings on some other websites that will remain nameless (*cough*aintitcoolnews*cough*).

I guess some people are assholes no matter what their tastes in movies are.
